This festive season, Prestbury Parish Council ran a competition to find the
best-dressed Christmas window in the village. The competition, which is in its second year, was open to all Prestbury businesses.
On the evening of the Prestbury Christmas Street Party on the 11th December the panel of judges braved the elements to choose a winner. Particularly of importance was originality, visual impact, and that it was stylish.
This year’s winner was Stephen Muldoon Bespoke, the tailor’s shop. Stephen was presented with his certificate by Cllr Jennie Davies.
Stephen Muldoon, on winning the award said: “I am absolutely delighted to have won this years competition and so pleased that the new shops gone down so well in the village.”
Cllr Arthur Dicken, Chairman of Prestbury Parish Council said: “Stephens move to the new shop has made a huge improvement to the village street scene, his use of the traditional black and white is testament to his attention to detail and is in-keeping with the Parish Councils commitment to bringing our village back to its traditional identity.”
Stephen Muldoon was founded in 2004 by Stephen and provides quality men’s clothing, gifts and accessories that are often exclusive to them. The window was crowned the winner due to its stylish festive design and the attention to detail.
